    Emulator → WoW

    1. Save in the game, close the emulator, and find its .sav (mGBA, VisualBoyAdvance and most others write one next to the ROM).
    2. Load it above and press Make string, then Copy string.
    3. In WoW, type /cm import, paste, and press Import. It replaces your Crittermon game.

      WoW → emulator

      1. In WoW, type /cm export and copy the string. Paste it above.
      2. Load a FireRed or LeafGreen .sav to write into. Your own save is best; any save that has been saved once works.
      3. Press Write .sav. Keep the original as a backup, rename the new file to match your ROM, and pick CONTINUE.

      where to find Johto and Hoenn Pokémon in National Dex mode

      Pick NATIONAL DEX: FROM START on the new game screen, and Pokémon from Gold, Silver, Ruby and Sapphire turn up all over Kanto at levels that fit each route. Every table keeps FireRed's slots and levels. Each generation gets about a third of a table, a strong Pokémon only turns up in a 1–5% slot, and every Kanto Pokémon can still be found somewhere in its area. Surfing and ROCK SMASH have five slots (60/30/5/4/1), so the generation with the 60% slot changes from one spot to the next. FireRed follows Gold and Ruby, LeafGreen follows Silver and Sapphire. STARTERS picks Kanto, Johto or Hoenn starters, for you and your rival.
